For the love of stawberries

Who doesn't love fresh picked strawberries? They are so delicious! My friend Hilary and I thought it would be fun to take the kiddos to a strawberry patch. It was a lot of fun a first. Andrew loved picking ...




and eating...Andrew's buddy, Galen Micheal, was having fun picking too....

Then they lost interest. We had more than 1/2 a basket left to pick. As we (the moms) were picking the boys were playing. We look up and realize they are throwing sand! Oh no~
At the same time the babies started crying! This is the part where we thought- who's idea was this? It's 85 degrees and our kiddos are going crazy! As soon as we got the babies happy we would walk back down to the patch to pick and they would cry again. So we would run back over to the stroller. The boys wanted to run and play- not pick- just eat. We got everyone calmed down and under control... finished picking... and now have delicious strawberries!

Lesson learned- take our husbands next time! We need more hands!
