Nikki, Me, Lindsey

These ladies are medicine to my soul! I spent the weekend with 2 of my best friends- Nikki and Lindsey.  They came from Birmingham to stay with us for two nights and we had a W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L. time! As Nikki said, "It was a fabulous, refueling, purposeful, inspiring, fun, "divine" weekend!"

It's such a gift to have friends that are like minded in ALL areas of life. We stayed up way too late each night talking about marriage, babies, child rearing, scheduling, parenting, discipline, Jesus, healthy living, organic eating, clothes, exercise, meal plans, preschool, home school, decorating,  ... you name it..I think we covered it all. They got here Thursday night and we didn't go to bed until 2:45 AM. On Friday we went shopping, made a trip to Ikea, ate dinner at Seasons 52, then to Trader Joes, and finished off the evening with a quick trip to Whole Foods to get another yummy dessert. Saturday the girls wanted to have question and answer time with my smart husband and soon to be Dr. Jones. Then we worked on our Easter Tree project, which will be a new tradition for all our families, more on that another day. We painted our toe nails! Who doesn't love freshly painted toe nails? :) We ate a late lunch at Blu Greek Taverna off the Square in Marietta. If you are local and haven't eaten there- you should add it to your list -delicious, family owned, and affordable. We shopped around The Square just a little bit before they had to leave at 5 PM to get home to their sweet families.

My dream would be for us to all be neighbors and raise our families together...... one day ... maybe :)
