Since it stormed the evening of July 4th, we enjoyed fireworks July 5th with our small group from church. Here is a quick family photo taken at 10 pm. Look at Nate's tired eyes.
We put all the kids in the back of Mark's truck and blew bubbles for pre show entertainment
Andy had a bad experience with fireworks last year: the loud noise scared him because we were SO close. So this year we purposefully parked further away so the kids would not be scared. As we were counting down for the fireworks to begin....Andy got nervous...
Hahaha!!!! I love that Mark captured this moment. As soon as he heard that the fireworks weren't loud he sat in the back of the truck with all the other kids and enjoyed the show. On the way home Andy talked about how brave he was :)
