ordinary days

Seriously. This is Nate- wild, crazy, fun, and loud! He is jumping on a trampoline at Everett's house and the static in his hair was out of control! Hilarious... we got many great laughs!

Andrew and I have been baking Christmas goodies during Nathanael's morning nap time

climbing trees- i'm convinced all boys want to climb trees- no matter the size

It's Christmas time! This is what Nathanael's hair looks like right after a bath. Love that curly fro! We woke him up from a morning nap to take a quick bath and go to church.

We're in trouble he knows how to push the pedal in full speed but does not know how to steer

Story time: It's fun to see Nathanael learn the words and motions to our story time songs. He wants Andrew to be right by his side.

Working: Andrew loves 'working' and 'fixing' things. He also loves to play with ropes and tie people and things up.

Do you notice it's dark outside? Yes, it's 6:00 AM. Nathanael normally sleeps until about 7:00-7:30.  One day last week he was up and ready for the day at 5:45AM. Here he is working on his "puter", drinking milk, and eating a clementine while I try to wake up enough to fix breakfast.

Here's a little glimpse into our nightly routine: we do our advent devotion- the Jesse Tree and read a Christmas book

Then they beg Mark to throw them on the bed again and again and again.

I really think this might be the highlight of their day. I wish you could hear the laughter and squeals!

Notice Nathanael's arms. This is his sign he is about to JUMP on you! He will pounce on you- full steam ahead- and does not care if you are ready to receive him.
