Spotlight on Nathanael

Fun loving. Full of life. Expressive. Silly. Cuddly. Talkative. Opinionated. Sweet. Fearless. Handful. Spunky. Curious. Charming. 

Nathanael is 2 years and 4 months old. He brings such joy to our lives. There is never a dull moment in our house... he keeps us on our toes! This cute kiddo is a handful! If you were to walk in our house it would be clear that we have a two year old: crayon marks on the wall, toys everywhere, and temper tantrums to be heard. Despite all of that- Nate is the sweetest, cuddliest, cutest little guy. He has a charm about him. When he walks in the room everyone smiles! His laughter is contagious and he wins the hearts of everyone so easily.   

Nate is such talker, just yesterday our neighbors were asking us how old he is because he talks so well and uses such expression. He says the funniest things that catch us off guard. We were picking figs off our fig tree this weekend. He picked a few, put them in the bucket, took a loud sigh, and with his hands on hips said, "Whew! That is such hard work!".  He knows what he wants and is not afraid to say it. Every morning he tells me what he wants for breakfast and he is certain that is what he wants. Today he said, " Mommy, I want watermelon for breakfast and thats all." Of course, he doesn't' always get what he request but he knows what he wants... he had greek yogurt first then watermelon : )

Nate is getting so big: understanding the world around him, playing independently, asking such great questions, learning to get dressed, cleaning up after himself, sleeping in a 'big boy bed', playing games, etc. Although I'm cherishing the little boy things like: his curly hair, saying "up-y" when he wants to be picked up, loving his passy (which I'm going to let him have until after we are moved and settled). 

Favorite activities include: playing superman- running around the house with a cape, chase, hide n seek, cars, digging outside, hunting rabbits, legos, play-doh, drawing, swimming, reading books, and jumping off any and everything. It goes without saying that anything involving food is always a hit for Nate. This boy loves to eat! 

Nathanael is growing so fast!!! Wish I could bottle this age up and keep him here forever!!!
