My parents love the outdoors!

This is their home away from home.... they love it! 

I love that they love it! How cute is my mom with her skinny jeans, camo jacket and camo boots? 

She's the real deal! Did I tell y'all that last year she got pearls and a shot gun for Christmas! So cool!

The boys love camping too, so much so that Andrew told me that he thinks camping would be a great Christmas gift! He is ready to play outside from sun up to sun down. He thinks Pop, my dad, is about the coolest thing ever... he copies his every move. 

The boys brought their play guns on the camping trip. They had to have their guns in case they saw something. So we took several walks in the woods and they pretended to hunt. 

 The boys learned tons about gun safety. My dad loves to hunt and shoot guns but he is serious about safety. He taught Andrew many safety rules and made Andrew repeat what he had learned. The boys got to help Mark and my dad shoot the pellet gun.  

We spent a lot of our time sitting around the campfire. Andrew really enjoys helping with the fire and Nate thought he was a big boys carrying wood.

 A camping trip would not be complete with lots of exploring in the woods and riding the mule!
