Have you ever heard 2 owls hooting back and forth? It's so NEAT! When Mark got home from school today he heard owls in the backyard. So we grabbed our binoculars and ran outside. We heard them but never saw them.
** As it turns out, the the sound we heard was probably Mourning Doves cooing not Owls. Mourning Doves are often mistaken for Owls, the male's courtship and territorial call is a series of cooing.notes. Little science lesson for the day!
