spring is in the air

It is beautiful outside and we are loving it! I would be a happy girl if it was this weather 300 days a year. You can't beat blue skies, sunny and 70 degrees.

This weekend we played outside as much as possible. Saturday morning Mark met several of his friends at Kennesaw Mountain to exercise. Exercise is really an understatement. They ran up the mountain, not the paved road but the trail that goes straight up. They ran doing 'buddy carries'. That is when you run with someone on your back- when you can't run anymore you stop and they run while carrying you on their back. Craziness! They did this twice! I wish I had a picture of them. 

When Mark got done with his workout he met us at the bottom of the mountain. We were having a picnic with The Gross Family. 

Andy and Abby Jane ran their little hearts out in the field while playing frisbee and throwing balls. 

Nathanael decided he wanted to sit with his little friends and watch the big kids play. 

      My fun parents came over to play on Sunday. They will do whatever the boys want them to... just look!

After playing so hard they needed a snack. I love dad's face here... he was copying Andy's silly 'cheese face'. 

So where was Nate? He was napping while we played outside. But don't worry they got to love on him too!
