I have done a terrible job taking pictures recently but here is a run down of last week:
Monday- We meet Christina, Everett, Juliette, Janelle, and Kara for a walk up Kennesaw Mtn. The mommas wanted exercise so we put all you kiddos in strollers and walked. Andrew, you and Everett were in the same stroller so you could talk and play and let me tell you.... that was a HEAVY stroller to push up a mountain. I had to take several little breaks to breathe. It was a cold day and damp day. The high was 42 degrees but we were determined to make the best of it so... after the walk we had a picnic. You boys loved eating on a blanket and running around. I'm not sure if it bothered you at all that is was cold.
Tuesday- Andrew we had 'school' time during Nate's morning nap. Then we went to the library for story time. You both love Ms. Melissa! You love the way she captures you attention as she reads, you love the rhymes she teaches you, you love the songs you sing, and you love the educational games she has planned. After story time we went to DAC kids to play. It was a nice surprise to see our friends Joy and Blythe at DAC kids. We played for awhile and then had a 'picnic' lunch there. Tuesday night Mimi and Poppy babysat you while Daddy and I went to small group.
Wednesday- Bible Study Fellowship is every Wednesday and we all look forward to it! Andrew you have such a great time in your class. Last week when I picked you up from class you asked if you could stay longer to play with play-doh. You learn so much in your class and are great at telling me what you learned about. Nate you
Thursday- We played at home: lots of legos, singing, reading, working with tools, coloring, and cars. After nap time we went for a walk with daddy. Then we came home to make a special dessert for our friends Mark and Janelle, who came over for dinner. You boys played with Mark and Janelle for a little bit and then you went to bed while us parents had game night.
Friday- You could not wait to go to DAC kids with The Gross family. We played in the sand, on the forts, in the jump houses, with the balls and guns- and then we had a picnic lunch. After lunch you played a little more with Abby Jane, Joy, and Blythe and then we were all ready for a nap! So we came home to take a nice nap. After nap time we played games with daddy! Andrew your favorite came is Zingo and Nate you like Elefun.
Saturday- The Gibbons girls had their third birthday party at The Play in Roswell. You both has so much fun jumping on the trampoline and playing in the foam pit. It was such a treat for you to eat Pizza, cupcakes, and juice boxes. They gave you a 'goody bag' as we were leaving and Andy you said, "Wow! We need to write them and letter and say thank you for giving us toys on your birthday". Sweet Boy! After the party we went to Nanny and Pops house to visit them and Aunty Natalie. We stayed until your bed time. It was a fun filled day!
Sunday- Passion City Church! You both really like going to church even though you get a little timid at first. Nate you are sweet and play well 90% of the time- the other 10% of the time you can be a bully. Last week I was in your class and you would watch the children happily playing with a toy then run over to them - take it away- and yell "Mine!" So we are going to work on that. Nate, this week a little boy bit you on the arm but you were tough and handled it well. Andrew your class is so much fun! You play with toys for a few minutes, color pictures, and then go to a bigger class to 'worship', were there is skit, a Bible story, a lesson. Then you come back to your room to do a craft about the lesson, have snack, and work on your memory verse. You are always really excited to show us what you made in class!
