We thought it would be fun to celebrate Mother's Day doing something new and exciting with the boys.... so this year we rode the
Blue Ridge Scenic Railway.
It was a rainy day but that truly didn't put a damper on our day. The rain did not come in the open cars and we also had the option of sitting in the closed cars... we did some of both. We wore our raincoats most of the day because it was a little chilly.

Nate loved the train ride all except when the blew the horn. If were riding in the outside car it really was loud. Check out this cute series of pictures ....
