Nathanael has the most charming little personality. He is such a little flirt when he meets someone new, he may act shy for 2 seconds and then he is full steam ahead. For instance at the grocery a few days ago he talked to the checkout lady saying, "Hi! I got a cookie! I go swimming today. I like to jump big. Big Splash. I play cars..... " He has his own little conversations with whoever he meets.
He knows what he wants and he is opinionated. He makes it clear to everyone what is on his mind :)
He likes to be the center of attention. If he is not the center of attention, he will do something SILLY to put the spot light on him. He has a really funny personality.
He loves to eat all. day. long.
He is really tough. He takes lots of hard tumbles and rarely cries. He thinks everything is better with kiss and a hug. Recently, he fell down and no one was around so he kissed his own boo-boo.
He is potty training and doing really well.
He is a climber. He climbs on everything. We find him up high all over the house: the kitchen table, the counters, the stairs, the bed, etc...He sleeps in a 'toddler bed' now because he constantly climbed out of his crib.
He loves Andrew. He often calls him, "buddy". He copies everything that Andrew does.
He is a mess. He throws fits. His favorite phrase when asked to do something is, "No. I don't want to". He tells me to 'obey' him. When he disobeys and still wants his way- he tells me 'to paddle him'. He is feisty. He is a handful. He challenges my parenting techniques.

He still loves to cuddle mommy and sit in my lap. When he is whiny or tired he says, "up-y" with his arms raised for me to carry him around. He is a mama's boy!
He wants to be outside 24/7. He enjoys swinging, playing ball, 'hunting', chasing rabbits, running, playing in the mud, riding his little lawn mower, using his imagination, and chasing Andrew.
He is fearless.
He is great in the water. He jumps, kicks, moves his arms, etc... he may swim by the end of the summer. He thinks he can swim now. We really have to keep an eye on him because he will jump in and try to swim without floaties on.
He is a talker. He will talk your ear off all day long and I love it!
He is often called: Nate, Natey, Tater Tot, or Nater Potato (by Andrew)
