Christmas Day

It's important to us to start each Christmas morning focusing on the TRUE meaning of Christmas.... Jesus. So we finished our Jesse Tree and read about the the birth of Jesus. This year the boys wanted to reenact the scene with their nativity set and take turns saying their Christmas rhyme. Then we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and headed downstairs.....

We opened presents and opened presents and opened more presents.....

We ate a nice big Christmas breakfast with this crazy crew :)

Then it was time to clean up and head to my parents house! The boys were in for a big surprise...bikes!

They were so excited!!!

It was a rainy morning so after about 20 minutes we got them back inside to open gifts.

One of my very favorite parts of Christmas this year was that my sweet mom took Andrew Christmas shopping at the Dollar Store. He was able to pick out a gift or two for everyone. He loved it and picked out gifts that really went well for each person!

He couldn't WAIT to give out his gifts!!!

Here is what he gave everyone:
Me- a pink box for organizing
Mark- flashlight and skittles
Nate - teddy bear, truck
Himself - yoyo
Nanny- candle
Pop- tin can and we made treats to put in it
Natalie- big necklace and flower
Kevin- an FBI set with a gun, binoculars, badge, etc..
Carol- nativity set
John- cell phone holder
Todd- flashlight

We had a wonderful Christmas! So blessed to have happy healthy families on both sides to celebrate the day with and most of all personal Savior who came to live with us!
