The Greatest Show On Earth....

Can you tell who was excited to go to the circus?!?

We arrived an hour before show time to go onto the arena floor to meet the performers and some animals. We had the opportunity to mingle with clowns, take pictures, try on circus outfits, watch performers, volunteer, and get a taste of the circus before the show even begins!

This was Andrew's second circus and Nathanael's first. Nathanael enjoyed the Pre- Show from the back pack (no strollers are allowed). He did really well and watched the performers with wide eyes.

We were so close that we could honestly reach out and touch the performers. At one point in the show they asked for children to volunteer. I volunteered Andrew. He wasn't so sure he wanted to be a volunteer. He was supposed to be pulling the rope but instead looked at us for reassurance. Bless his heart- he was so timid.

Our attempt at a family photo. A sweet man took the picture for us and well...it didn't turn out so well.

What was Nathanael's favorite part of the circus? Playing with my clown nose :) I was truly so happy with his circus experince. He rode in the backpack for the Pre-Show. He sat in my lap, played, and ate snacks for the 1st part of the show. Then at intermission I nursed him and he slept in the Ergo for the second part of the show. Wonderful!

What was Andy's favorite part of the circus? The "eff-a-nants". He keeps talking about the elephants. He seemed to really watch 85% the show and enjoyed it!
