Operation Christmas Child

I can't believe it's already time for Operation Christmas Child! We have three boxes packed and ready to go. I hope to track our shoe boxes this year to see what country they go to.  Mark's mom took Andrew shopping and was he ever excited. He brought his 'moneys' with him and returned with several shopping bags.

The boxes have: crayons, colored pencils, coloring pads, pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners, little games, slinky's, soap, wash clothes, balls, cars, socks, toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, and some hard candy.

These are the most important items in one of the shoe boxes.

Carol, Mark's mom, and Andrew brought two new hot wheels cars for the shoe boxes. When they got home it turned out we had too much stuff for just two boxes so we made a third box. One box was without a car. I asked Andrew if he would give one of his MANY cars to a little boy. At first he said no- he wanted to keep all his cars. Then after making a pile of ALL his cars and leaving an empty space where the little boys would have no cars... he decided it would be best not to give one of his cars away but two = )
